TransMed Network Mission

Since its creation in 1998, TransMed Network™ has strived to provide its services to members at low to no cost. These services include the Client Software, a medical practice management software suite, with integrated electronic health record (EHR) and billing system.

Over the years, TransMed Network™ has upheld this mission while adding to its services. State-of-the-art enhancements include: transmed.net, Institutional Interfaces, integrated back-up system, and a TransMed-specific OS, among others. TransMed Network™ is a Statistics Based Clinical System designed on the "pay for performance" environment.

A Unique Pricing Structure

The cost of TransMed Network™ and its Client Software, is free to any licensed medical provider. This includes any future upgrade or basic information-gathering spider. Every member of the TransMed Network™ becomes a data provider and has access to the web-based TransMed Network™. Unlimited use of the integrated TransMed-McKesson Billing Module [unlimited e-billing, AR journal, electronic remittances, Patient Statements, Dashboard, etc.], which provides and manages electronic e-claim submissions, will generate a subscription charge payable monthly.

TransMed Client Software Version 3.0 is the version TransMed members have envisioned and designed. It is their system; your system.

Recommendations by the IT Team

Current Internet technologies and availability produce a "99.7%-always-up internet/broadband connection" for present web-based TransMed Network™ Member-Providers. Premium broadband connections provided by commercial ISP companies also produce connection speed beyond the minimum required for TransMed use.

The TransMed IT team recommends that all incoming TransMed users select a web-based office with a FIXED IP address broadband connection. Large practices or groups can use this setup, with no decrease in performance, unless they have special requirements.
